Preheat oven to 350°.
Lightly grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking pan, or line with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl place yellow cake mix, brown sugar, and spices.
Add the mashed bananas, water, oil, eggs and liqueur.
Blend with electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute.
Stop mixer and scrape sides and bottom of bowl with a rubber spatula.
Beat an additional 2 minutes at medium speed until well blended.
Pour into a prepared pan.
Place on center rack in oven and bake about 40 minutes, or until lightly browned and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack.
Cool completely before frosting.
