Judycipes is a family-run recipe site, not a data business. Here's exactly what we keep and why.
One cookie, and it's not the kind you bake: a sign-in cookie so the site remembers it's you. No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, no third-party anything watching you browse.
When you use "Tidy up my recipe," the recipe text you typed is sent to Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI) to be formatted into ingredients and steps. Only the recipe text goes. Your name, email, and everything else about you stays put.
We use it to sign you in and to answer support questions. No newsletters, no marketing, and we never sell or share it.
Everything is stored on our own rented server (hosted by Hostinger). Recipes, reviews, and cookbook pages are public to anyone visiting the site; your email and shopping list are not.
Want your account and everything in it gone? Write to Ask a grandson from your account and say so. A real person will remove it, recipes, photos, and all.
Ask a grandson (tech support) is the fastest way to reach the person who runs this site.
