Easy Drop Biscuits

I prefer drop biscuits because I am too lazy to roll out the dough and cut with a biscuit cutter. But I have put them in muffin tins and cooked them that way, does that count?

Ingredients

Steps

1

Preheat oven to 450°.

2

In a large bowl add all of the dry ingredients and mix well.

3

Melt butter (best to let butter cool a bit before adding) and add milk and butter to dry ingredients.

4

Stir just until moistened.

5

Do not over mix or biscuits will be tough.

6

Drop batter onto a greased cookie sheet by heaping Tablespoon.

7

Bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown on edges.

8

Serve warm.

Chef's notes: Makes about 15 biscuits. Can be baked in muffin tins instead of dropped on a cookie sheet.
